maybe i'm just not avant garde enough...?

{mmm, i love a man in plastic bubble wrap.  it's important to always being "safe"!}

{i don't know what i love more - the clear, tinkerbell plastic wings or the red peter pan tights.}

{scary.as.shit.}

{when life gives you lemons, make an effing jacket.}

{marshmallows in yo face!}

{i'm not the only one eating too many marshmallows these days...}

{lady gaga, is that you???}

{did kanye west's grandma knit these shades?  i think so.}

{just in case she gets hungry.  models get hungry, too you know.}

{maybe she's just really really cold.}

{i think this one's just too big for her.  maybe it would look good if they had one in her size...  i guess the outfit doesn't come with pants either.}

{for once, i don't even know what to say.  it would at least provide you with a lot of personal space.}

I love Project Runway. Tim Gun has taught me to be fashion forward. This shit is just weird though.

LOL this is so Lady Gaga. I can get the art in some of them but there is just no excuse for the bag of chips to the head none at all!

This has got to be some of the stupidest designs I have ever seen. I know designers are suppose to think out of the box box wtf?

No wonder you loose your male audience!

Further proof that I could grab random shit, slap it on a skinny, and make my way into the fashion world.

Ummmm I don't even know what to say to this! Do people seriously think that people are going to wear these things? Although that Marshmellow head did make me hungry. Chip bag head made me hungry too. These skinny models too. Geez is it lunch time yet?

foxy said...

All of those things are just retarded. How can they really think that's fashion?????

How did you get a picture of my rehearsal dinner dress!? (3rd one down.)

B-Dub said...

I think you could totally sport the last one! its like living on a runway. Who doesn't want to be in the spot light 24/7?

OK, this is just too funny lol. Where do you find these types of pictures?! The potato chip bag is outrageous. I hope I never seeing anyone walking down the street in this type of attire.

Blech, yeah I don't get this shit either. It's like that godawful dress that Chloe Sevigny wore to The Golden Globes! I don't care if it's "high fashion," it's FUGLY! Just plain FUGLY.

High Fashion? Are these people on drugs? And can that guy in the first shot breathe?

As I was scrolling through, all I could think was that these were fashions for Elton John, Cher and Lady Gaga ...combined!

Then I saw that very last one and just about spat out my drink. It reminded me of the parody of Gone With the Wind that Carol Burnett did.

Too funny!

I think the people who put these gigs on hide in the audience and laugh at people who take them seriously.

Seriously? Who is like...chips on someones head is totally the next big thing? Who would do that?

Nomad said...

haha... what would tim gunn say?

Ed said...

Great! Now I have to start saving my fucking bubble wrap. Damn it, fashion police!

"When life gives you lemons, make an effing jacket" hahaha great advice.

Where in the world is it that people actually go out in public wearing these things? I mean, I'd like to visit. I could never understand why these were called "fashion" shows because it looks more like an art show. Nobody really wears stuff like this. Except Lady G, but that's only recent.

Crazy!!!

Again, I just don't understand these shows... are they going for the "art" of it or for fashion? Freaking weird ass sh@t!
