back on the saddle

today is my first day back among the living and i kind of feel like i've come back from the dead.  seriously.  i've missed you all like i've missed consuming bags of marshmallows, and i promise to play catch up reading all that i've missed in your lives the past couple of days.

in the meantime, check me out at my friend, kiran's blog.  many of you may know her as masala chica, and let me tell you, she is one hot and spicy indian momma and a dear friend!

I can't comment on your bug post. Just know that I am totally creeped out. I would have jumped out of my car on the side of the highway. OMG!

Welcome back! That cockroach story was insanity. I would have been more scared of the taco eating men. Although I do love a good taco.

OH MY GOSH. Your freaking cockroach story is HYSTERICAL. I can only imagine what exit you were at... downtown Houston is surrounded by 'exits that you should never take'. I know that.

I was going to comment over there on the blog but it wouldn't let me. I would have done the exact same thing in that situation... I freak whenever I see one of those devils and don't get me started on the ones that fly! The make me want to pee myself in fear!!! (I encountered a few when I lived in Florida - NO ME GUSTA!!!!)

I too am a cockroach hater! Only problem is... it's so humid here the cockroaches are impossible to keep away (well, we had the professionals in so they aren't in my place - at the moment). When we moved out of a flat we were living in, we had to throw out the microwave, phone and toaster cause the cockroaches were living in them. Ewwwww! If your a renter, in a building full of those dirty little fuckers, you'd better get used co-habitation!

Glad to have you back amongst the living. I find it's far better than the alternative.
