FDA asked to force food industry to cut back on salt. do you have any idea how much this would change my life?? i LOVE salt. (and not just salt from salt says, either!) for years i thought i had some sort of disease that made me crave salt. (hypochondria?) whatever it is it must be the same disease that makes me crave sugar.

don't drink and drive a recliner chair. remember this story back from october 2009 where a man in deluth, minnesota was arrested and given a DUI for being drunk while driving a lazy boy recliner chair?? i didn't remember it either, but apparently this chair was auctioned off for $3,700. the recliner has all of the modern conveniences: it is powered by a lawnmower engine and comes equipped with a stereo, cup holders and a magazine rack. CLASSY!!
vlog help!! so i recorded a vlog for you guys last night but don't have a clue as to how to post it. i went to the trusty internet and got these
- click the film strip icon on the post editor toolbar.
- in the popup window, click "browse" to find the video on your computer.
- enter a title for your video.
- agree to the terms and conditions (if this is your first video upload).
- click "upload video."
i don't have the icon below boxed in red!!
*UPDATE: thanks to THE stephanie and bathwater, i've figured it out!! i have to use the OLD blogger editor to add the video. that doesn't seem to make much sense, blogger...*

Giiiiirlllll, pimped out recliners is how we roll up here in MN! Once we lose our cars and lawn mowers because of all the dui's we've got we have to get creative. We are a classy people.

Hmm..I've always had the video upload button on mine so I don't know. Maybe reload it a couple of times and see if it shows up. I just uploaded my first video the other day in a post.

i am not a salter...i don't go out of my way to avoid it...i mean i DO love fries and what not...but i am not a sodium lover and hate eating something and then after feeling like i just licked a saltlick for an hour...so i am loving that news!!

Hye girly. Ok, about the video, go to settings, then scroll all the way to the bottom and select "old editor".
For some reason, in the "new editor" (that has all the cool features, LOL) there is no video strip to add video. Dumb. But you can change the old editor, add your video, then switch back to the new editor. :)

The salt and sugar cravings are definitely in the same gene. I can't have one without the other and once I have one I want the other and then it's just a back and forth battle that I will never win. Maybe the FDA is trying to save my life or something, but please. Let me decide what I can handle!
of course i already read about that bully beauty pageant. it's a good thing i didn't enter because i so would've took the crown with my boys. they are the most beautiful bullies in the world! ha!

I might have an obsession with my iPad. I haven't used my laptop since I got it. Plus it makes my kids be quiet in the car. You don't have that problem, but trust. That alone is worth the $750.
Oooooh! I don't know anyone with an iPad! I'm curious as to what it's like to type on one . . . I think they're awesome, but that I might miss my keyboard.

BTW, I'm a salt addict too. I swear I'd be a size 2 if i didn't salt my food before I even tasted it. I'm not fluffy, I'm just on swoll!
A guy in New Zealand did the drunken recliner thing too. He got to keep his though, the police didn't auction it off.

I am this close [--] to convincing the boyf we need a bulldog. I've always wanted a french bulldog or Boston Terrier but loved the English bullys - needless to say M keeps talking about him ... maybe when we have the money to buy one I'll get my little bully! :)

As a Brit l am a big fan of the Bulldog. As long as they wear a little Union Jack outfit with a jaunty cap. Thought the dog with the Biggles's goggles is just TOO cute.
AS for salt, l am not sure if you have ever tasted Salt and Vinegar flavoured crisps. Basically crisps withe extra salt. MMMMMMMMMMMMM.
