law school = hairy legs, lots of sugar, and charlie is back

first year of law school forces you to neglect a variety of things.  things you once held sacred and dear are taken over by the blob that is law school.

to give you an idea of how i'm doing (although i'm sure 97% of you don't care, i'm just narcissistic and am going to pretend that you do), i'm going to tell you a little bit about myself these days:

- i've stopped shaving my legs.  it takes time and i'm lazy.  so my vietnamese bff, ann, at my nail salon waxes them while i sit there and read contracts.  she talks the entire time, too.  as if her talking is going to distract me from ripping hair from my legs.

- my diet consists solely of sugar cookies and sweet potatoes.  please don't be like my doctor and judge.  she's convinced i'm going to turn myself into a diabetic before too long.  i like sugar and i like sweet.  what can i say.

- lest you have forgotten about charlie, he's baaaaaaaaaack!!!  i see him almost nightly now, and he has been in a MOOD lately.  for those of you who have forgotten charlie, or who didn't have the great pleasure of reading about charlie, here he is in all his pride and glory:

i've told him if he hasn't stopped scaring the bejeebies out of me, i'm going to turn him into one of these:

love and miss you all like a barnacle loves being on a humpback whale.

hugs and kisses.

Meredith

Well at least someone is taking care of your legs. I hope all this drive to success is worth it. It was fun knowing a blogger in Texas I'm not sure when I'll need a lawyer in Texas.

Hahahah ahhhh!
I careee and I feel your pain prob not as in intense because I am not in law school but 2nd year of my masters and I don't shave too often!!
Also I can try and say for the sugar thing, fruits give you muuuch more energy (I ate 4 cookies today so I'll give you advice and then maybe I'll actually listen to myself ahha)
Might help you with reading.

Miss you too, Flashy!

I tend to shave my legs on weekends. I can stay in the bed longer if I don't shave in the shower before work. Gross, but true!!

Waxing is the way to go. You are a smart one on that.

I could come down there and take care of Charlie for you. And by "take care of" I mean run away screaming.

Maybe when you are a super cool lawyer you'll have fun things to blog about, but most likely not because most of that shit is probs confidential.

Ok, well...this comment was pretty much useless. Miss you!

I blacked out at the idea of having legs waxed. Like your ENTIRE LEG ... both of them??! Ouch. By the way it is winter, and you are in law school, you can embrace hairy legs, especially if you have any interest in public interest law ( :

I've never waxed..maybe I ought to try it! Then again I have way more time on my hands to shave!

I am glad that you are being you while pursuing degreees - and taking then in the only way you can. Efficiency is important. So shave when you are watching "outsourced" and make out over torts. very multifunctional.
