i'm a hairless cow. or that's what google told me.

hokay, so here's the deal.  i just finished week deux of law school (law school is also know as - i'm going to not only take all of your money, but i am going to deprive you of any and all sleep, make you carry 4.36 million pound case books, stand up in class and recite one of the 7.83 million cases i assigned you the night before all while making you develop a stomach ulcer and hair loss due to stress)

i'm essentially going to school six days a week, thanks to these "highly recommended/basically mandatory" saturday seminars.  let's just say i've gone from having a very limited life to a non-existent life.  my limited human interaction involves teaching my 11th grade girls sunday school class sunday mornings.  (p.s. do any of y'all have 16-17 year old girls or know any 16-17 year old girls?  they are hysterical.  and chatty.  like even more chatty than i get when i ramble on to you guys in my post.  i've been blessed with a great group of about ten girls this school year, so i'm excited to see how the year goes.)

i guess i can't say it's all bad, though.  i'm really, really loving the actual content of what i'm learning and how to actually apply the law.  my passion for the law and and understanding it has only increased, so thank sweet Jesus i'm good at identifying my own interests.  you'd be shocked to know, quite a few people start law school and quit after the first week or semester saying, "this crap wasn't what i signed up for."  it's intense, suffice it to say.

that being said, i miss you all like cuhrazy.  i'll try to make the rounds when i can and i hope everyone is doing well.

let me leave you with this - when i typed in the word "stress" in google images, this is what i came up with.  weird.  i think google is trying to tell me something, and i'd be stupid not to listen since google and wikipedia are pretty much geniuses and right all the time.

i feel google may be predicting what i'm going to look like by the end of the year - a cow with no hair.

I love teenagers!!! I teach high school and those little monsters crack me up every single day. :) What a fascinating age. So exciting that you just started law school (even if it is crazy-making) . . . but that hairless dog (Chinese Crested Something?) is FREAKY. I encountered one in Georgia in June and it pretty much gave me the heebie jeebies. :|

the real question we all REALLY want to know, is what's happening to poor baby Bailey?

First, you are obviously the magical flying dolphin, not a hairless cow, so get that thought out of your head.
Second, yay for you for finding your passion in life. Very exciting. Keep it up girl, you're going to rule the world one day!

:( I'm sure you have the determination to finish what you've started. Though it will mean not time for fun.

trifecta syngery. i used that cow dolphin pic like way back in the day before anyone read my blog. clearly we share the same brain. except yours is the smart law school part of the brain and mine is the dumb drink beer and stare at my sparkles 23 hours a day part.

hang in there love bug. we need your lawyer-ness in the trifecta so we can take over the world.

I imagine that even if you ended up looking like a cow with no hair, you would still be GORGEOUS! I have a friend in Law School now, just finishing his last year, I think. And yep it's intense. And the only way he can relieve his tension is to make lawyer jokes, which none of us get. But he seems to be enjoying it, too. Congrats to you for figuring out what would make you happy and going after it! That takes courage. And lots and lots of caffeine! Thanks for popping in! It's good to see you in my Google Reader again!

Young girls are a bit crazy aren't they? My boyfriend's little sister is 6 going on 25!! I'm convinced of this!

Thos pictures are CRAZY funny. Hahahaha... seriously. The first year of law school made me mad. As in loco crazy mad. And angry too. So mad in every sense of the word. Worst year of my life... but the best at the same time. It's torture. Way too much work. Draining. Tiring. Frustrating as HELL. But there are these moments... moments when you finally understand what the issue in the case really was. Moments when your memo actually starts to follow CREAC or IRAC and it makes sense. Moments where you realize you CAN do this- moments when you realize you're gonna make one hell of a lawyer someday. Or when you know you'll be able to use this newfound knowledge to help someone. Those moments, although few and far between in your 1L year.... well, hang on tight to those. They make the ride worth it.
And it gets easier- I cross my heart and promise :)

Ah, you so wonderfully articulated one of the main reasons I would never do that kind of grad school. I applaud you for taking the challenge, though! It's good that you have this blog to vent in and find support.

The picture of the cow and the dolphin kills me.

Hello! I would like to open cosmetology salon. Do you have an experience in this business? There are too many options in beauty salon equipment. Could you give me an advise? What companies are more reliable to buy 14-In-1 multifunction facial machine and Lymphatic drainage machine?
